Why should I choose Kenzen over other koi food brands?

Floating vs Sinking koi food – which one should I choose?
Choose a food that fits your koi’s personality. Our floating koi food stays on the water’s surface, allowing you to monitor feeding behavior. The sinking koi pellets are ideal for shy or bottom-feeding koi. Kenzen offers both to meet the dietary needs of every type of koi keeper.

How often should I feed my koi?
Here is a simple feeding guideline based on water temperature:
Between 45F and 50F – two meals a day
Between 40F and 45F – one meal a day
Between 36F and 40F – one meal every other day, or every three days

Can I feed Kenzen koi food year-round?
Yes, Kenzen Koi Food is formulated for year-round feeding. With a high-quality protein blend and optimal digestibility, it’s suitable for koi in all seasons. Whether you’re feeding in spring or preparing your pond for winter, Kenzen supports healthy growth and color.
FAQ: Ordering & Shipping
What are the shipping options and costs?
Standard Shipping
Orders placed Monday through Thursday before 12:30 p.m. CST typically ship the same or next business day.
Orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday ship in one to two business days.
We ship using SPEE-DEE Delivery to MN, WI, IL, IA and parts of ND, SD, NE and MO.
FedEx Ground is used to all other states. We do not ship via UPS or USPS with the exception of small packages.
When holidays fall mid-week, we may ship products on Fridays if the scheduling permits.
Do you offer free shipping?
Shipping Policy
FREE economy ground shipping on all qualifying orders $30 and over.
Orders under $30 (product total does not include applicable tax) are subject to standard shipping costs.
FREE shipping applies to economy ground shipping to 48 contiguous states only. Additional shipping charges will apply for expedited and air shipments.
Do you ship internationally?
International Addresses
We do not ship outside of the U.S. at this time.
Do you ship to Alaska?
Orders for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories will need to contact us at 800-311-6646 Monday- Friday 8:00- 4:00 CST.
Due to the size of the bags, ordes can only be shipped with FedEx Next Day or 2 Day.
Unfortunately we are not able to credit for lost/stolen or damaged boxes.
What happens if my shipping address is different?
Shipping to a Different Address
If you wish to send your complete order to an address that is different than the billing address you provide us, simply enter the delivery address in the Ship To Information page during Checkout.
How do I track my order?
How to Track Your Order
Customers who provide an email address will receive order status updates. These may include an order confirmation email, followed by a shipping notification email including tracking information if available. Detailed tracking information will be updated as the shipment progresses.
Customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois will generally receive their shipments via Spee-Dee Delivery service. For all other states, shipments are sent via FedEx Ground.
FAQ: Returns & Exchanges
Refusal of Packages and Restocking Fees
If a shipment that has already been processed is refused by the customer on arrival, the cost of the shipment coming back will be deducted from any credit or refund.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Kenzen Koi is NOT responsible for lost or stolen packages. We strongly recommend that you are available to receive your shipment. To ensure availability, provide an appropriate delivery address during business hours. This could be your work address or home address. Another option is to use the FEDEX HOLD OPTION (see below for more info).
We also offer signature-required delivery. However, FedEx and Spee-Dee Delivery have ADDITIONAL FEES that will be passed along for this service.
What is FedEx Hold?
HOLD AT LOCATION
We now offer FEDEX HOLD at your local WALGREENS. Choose FEDEX HOLD at check out and set up your hold site as your NEAREST WALGREENS.
PLEASE NOTE:Â IF YOU CHOOSE HOLD AT WALGREENS LOCATIONS, IT WILL ONLY BE HELD FOR 5 BUSINESS DAYS.
After that time it will be sent back to Kenzen Koi. Shipping/restocking charges may apply. BE SURE TO PICK UP within the 5 business days.
We do not alert you to its arrival, please use your tracking number to know when it has arrived.
